Nestling amongst the hills and valleys of northwest Ireland is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The lakeland county of Fermanagh has at its nucleus an extraordinary natural feature - Lough Erne - that meanders through the centre of the 650 square miles of territory expanding into two large lakes.

This - the western-most county of the province of Northern Ireland - has a population of 61,000 people with the largest community concentrated in the island town of Enniskillen, strategically situated at the junction of the two halves of Lough Erne.
